Devotional 12/26/2016

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

Without goals and a plan you CAN NOT AND WILL NOT ACHIEVE ANYTHING!

With that being said, if they are a bad influence or temptation you should not be friends. If they do not support you: your dreams, your purpose and your call in God, don’t make time for them. This should be your YOU year; because it’s your life.

When you are 60 yrs old you don’t want to look back and think Man I was not focused. Separate business from emotional attachment, and vain desires from purpose. If you need counsel and advice ask for it! Don’t tell your story for pity, you are powerful!

I am a very strong willed person, because I learn from my mistakes, and so should you. If you aren’t then train yourself in this area!

Value your self and your time. This is your life. It’s not being cold hearted, it’s called having priorities and standards.

People will think you are crazy or that you are rude, but they have no idea what it takes to be YOU. To have a sound mind, to live this life and pay the price you have paid. And in that same way they will not be around when you are lamenting on your deathbed with all the Could Haves, Should haves, Would haves!

Let’s pray:

Father God, I know that every single person reading may not be a Christian or even know you- nor care for you; but lord I know that you take care of us anyhow. I present to you each person and I pray that you would give us all the courage, boldness and fire it takes to achieve our dreams and ambitions. May those who do not know their call or purpose, may they realize their potential this year. May their hearts be filled with love, joy and peace- and may they gracefully remove all distractions from their lives. In Jesus name, Amen.
