Devotional 5/1

Great day beautiful people of grace and courage.

Today is a new day of opportunity and mercy. We have a chance today to love, to stand our ground and to offer life to others. May you all be encouraged today knowing that you have you have overcome the past, and your present is only a step to rise above into a better version of yourself.

Five years ago, you couldn’t have imagined that u would be the hardheaded tenacious God fearing champion that you are today! And I want to remind you that YOU will keep getting better. The demons which have come after you, maybe old ones, maybe new ones, they have prevailed against you.

Many times they have persecuted me from my youth up;
Yet they have not prevailed against me.
Psalm 129:2

When a tree grows, it first makes itself strong in the ground knowing that it would be responsible to grow up to the sky and would defeat the laws of nature. Knowing that winds would blow, fires would start and the earth may shake, but nonetheless the tree knows that we wait for it for food, that animals wait for it for food and shelter and that it will provide oxygen for living animals.

So keep growing beautiful people, we are going to see the harvest of our long devotion of staying alive and moving forward! We haven’t been destroyed, because we are rooted in the ground. We are afflicted on every side but we are not destroyed. We may have wounds, but we are not ones to give up.

Let’s pray:

I believe the word of God and I declare Psalm 129:2 over you. You have seen the same issues, come back into your life but they have not overcome you. maybe sadness, restlessness or anger leave you for a season and return with plots and schemes to bring you down again, but they will not prevail against you. Maybe you feel tired of fighting the same old fight, maybe since your youth before Christ or maybe since you began walking with God, God is with you, and He will not let the enemy of our soul take us out without a fight. In Jesus name, God bless you. Amen.
