Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6
Deliverance is needed in each soul.
We all have issues we need to confront. It takes maturity and a lot of self love, to confront yourself. Most people avoid pain, but they end up avoiding the most necessary of all pains. If we do not know our enemy, and the weapons our enemy will use- wont we be easily defeated? This is why there’s a saying, which says keep your friends close, but your enemy’s closer. We have a spiritual enemy, Satan. And we also have the canal mind, which is this body. Both of these are against God, and will never tell us to do anything that is painful or salvation related. The flesh only seeks comfort, entertainment and amusement. While God is love, brings peace and is hope driven.
Many people think liberation or deliverance only pertains to being free from demons. But we are bound by many things, and in many ways which may not seem like are demonic (and are) like different mind frames. Things like shame, shyness, self doubt, indecision, low self esteem, laziness, stubbornness, bitterness, etc all comes from seeds which God did not plant. And there fore we need of liberation aka deliverance aka healing.
When you want to end a trees life, you must destroy it’s roots. Which is the same in the spiritual sense. God wants us to be grounded in love, but we could be grounded in fear, self hate, rejection, and so many other things! Uprooting things planted in our hearts and minds, that were not planted by God is NECESSARY deliverance (healing is deliverance). Throughout life people’s words stay on the fertile ground of your soul. Some things were planted, and watered and others never took root.
One of the things that God wants us to know is that He wants us to be rooted in love. We are the temple of God, His spirit is inside of us and He has planted seeds in us. Seeds of love, of joy, of faith, of patience (Galatians 5:19-22). The only way you can develop these seeds is by watering them, by tending to the garden. We have to know when it’s time to prune branches, rake leaves and water the ground, and we also need to clear the weeds.
Remember this is all just a process, a perfecting of our characters, our minds and our hearts. God is the God of yesterday, of today and of tomorrow. He can go as far as you let Him, except that you have to allow Him to walk in your garden. We are saved, we were saved and we are being saved! We were delivered, we are being delivered and we will be delivered.
Father God, thank you for planting the good seeds of love, faith, peace, joy, patience, self control, gentleness and goodness. Thank you for the seeds of wisdom, and of all the knowledge you have allowed us to come across. I thank you for your personal knowledge of each of us, knowing that you know our full potential. We understand things according to our caliber and experience, and I think that is pretty cool. I pray that you grow the good seeds, and uproot the bad seeds that have ever been planted. In Jesus mighty name! Amen.
