Devotional 11/12

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise–the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. Hebrews 13: 15

Fruit of the lips:
continual praise, springing from thankful hearts

Thank you Lord Jesus, for your grace and mercy. Thank you for your Spirit, your precious presence. I thank you for your perfect timing, and I thank you for being the God who honors covenants and agreements.

I thank you that you mend the broken, and save the humble. I honor you for being the Lord of lords, and King of kings. I exalt you because you are God of the impossible, and the God of all power, and all knowledge.

You are the Beginning, and the End, you know the End from the beginning, you are Sovereign. You are the First, and you are the Last: you are the Alpha and Omega.

I praise you, I offer sacrifice of praise to you. Despite of fears, heartbreak or pain; you are God Most High. There is no God besides you! Who will we go to, except to you creator of heaven and earth.

We choose to believe that, even though life is not going good or as we planned it, You are still good and we know that we  can trust you.  We do not want to be those people who are only thankful to you, when something good happens or when we pass by a cathedral church God. We do not want our words to be empty nothings in your ears, we want you to receive our worship and our praise because it is with our hearts that we thank you. We do not want to be those people who are only thankful when you do something good, but we want to be thankful even if you do nothing for the rest our days. We want to grateful for the privilege to know you as father, and lord.

I ask you to help everyone struggling today, to accept your will God. In Jesus name, Amen.
