Devotional 1/6

He has told you, O man, what is good; what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:9

A Christian must never leave off repenting,
for I fear he never leaves off sinning.
Charles H. Spurgeon

Lord Jesus, I come to you for protection; rescue us and save us from all who pursue us with harmful intentions. I also pray for forgiveness, my God, if I have wronged anyone, if I have betrayed a friend or spoken behind anybody’s back bring these to mind so that I may repent. I also pray for those who have wronged me, and I ask you to have mercy on them. And stand up against those who accuse or look for our downfall. Stop the wickedness of the destroyers and the homicides, and hide the children from the pedophiles. I pray for your justice to come against these evildoers, whose hearts feel no remorse and who have rejected you Jesus. Related image

May those who set traps for others, fall into traps themselves! Lord, my heart breaks for those who have fell in the hands of abusers, I call out to you for healing, rest and also for comfort. May all these people, including myself understand that the harm caused is not fault of their own but of the enemy who uses some as puppets. The enemy is here to kill, steal and destroy our faith, our minds, our identity; He wants to destroy our entire life. May we all push past abuse and fear, may we all be restored and be able to forgive the people at the hands of Satan.

Thank You that we all have a chance to come to our senses and to repent of our sin, and to receive Your mercy.

I also ask you Jesus to help our unbelief, which comes from fear. Rebellion which comes from arrogance. And insecurity which comes from inner complexes. Break generational patterns that continue to repeat themselves throughout our families.

And renew a right spirit within us Lord, to be sensitive to your voice and leading and also to follow you wholeheartedly. Teach us father God, to do justice, love kindness, and to walk humbly with you. In the name of Jesus, Amen.Image result for grace is getting what you don't deserve
