Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Revelation 3:3
A discerning woman knows when to cease from human labors and fold her eager hands in prayer.
Thank you Father God, because of who you are I give you glory. Yours is the glory, the power and the honor, forever. We are grateful for your grace, your mercies and each process you have allowed or orchestrated in our lives. Thank you for being a great teacher, our counselor and our comforter.
While we are in a fallen world, with issues and concerns that can damage ourselves and others; today, I thank you for relationships. Thank you for ministerial and secular work and please continue to uphold us. Thank you for raising us up, as your sons and daughters, your servants and propelling us to purpose.
I know that after you have tried us, we will be complete needing nothing. Please renew a right Spirit within us, help us get out of our caves, break chains and generational curses. May we be found as proved as faithful stewards of your grace. You said in your word that after we have suffered a while, you would establish us Jesus: we declare and stand on this word.
We humbly come before you to ask for forgiveness. Forgive us Lord for anytime we have ran from your will or second guessed your judgement like Jonah. Forgive us if we have complained like the Israelites. Forgive us for being stiff necked and rebellious like the unbelievers. Please forgive us for doubting like Peter, or ever hiding in a cave like Elijah. Forgive us for offending you Holy Spirit. We plead the blood of Jesus over our wrong thoughts, vain imaginations and even for the wicked emotions we have entertained or not called out and corrected. Forgive us Lord, for even the thought of doing things without you: ignoring your word, or your Spirit’s promptings. And ask for forgiveness, if we have ever turned a deaf ear to your pleading or guidance and for not resting in You.
We stand before you naked, and ask to buy eye salve- in case we are not seeing things the way you want us to see. We ask to buy your white linen garments that we may be found blameless and holy in your sight. We ask that you wash us clean from all of our sins, whether deliberate sin or those committed by omission.
Lord Jesus, I ask you to increase our confidence in you and give us boldness. I ask for help in choosing your will, and submitting our will to yours. I pray we always have the incense of praise, sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving burning on our altars, Lord. May we be shrewd as serpents, but soft as doves in this deceiving and wicked world.
I pray we would all be blessings for others, instruments of edification, encouragement and righteousness to all we encounter and have relationship with.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
