Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become tired or grow weary; There is no searching of His understanding. Isaiah 40:28
No matter what season of life we face, we can always count on the love of God.
Have you ever felt like God is not being fair to you? Or that He is doing or asking something of you where you seem to make sense of it? Have you ever complained to God!? Most of us are shunned when we confess to have questioned or complained to God: but to question God is not a bad thing.
Job questioned God. Job actually presented his case to God, because He could not conceive what he was going through as just! It was not fair to Job, he was a good man so understandably… He did not deserve to lose his crops, his animals, his children and his health. The Lord doesn’t need anyone to counsel Him, neither does He consult with anyone to approve of His decisions. The lord set Job straight by asking Him, where were you when the earth was created? Who tells the sun to set when it has risen? Who tells the ocean waters to stop at the shore? And quite honestly, Job was of all things- humbled before God. He is simply God, and we are not. The Most High knows our caliber, and He knows that we will overcome what He has us go through. He is wisdom and sovereign. He presents us with tests and trials, because He knows we can take it and if we fail, He knows we are able to make the effort and change for the better. He uses challenges to promote us, and treats us with grace so that we are able to overcome.
The Lord never runs out of energy, of might, much less of power! Our own strength, on the other hand, is feeble compared to God’s strength. We are not like God; we faint, and most times sure to fall! But if we can place our hearts and hopes in the Lord, He gives us strength. Isaiah 40:29 says that He gives strength to the weary, and to him who has no might – He increases power. God’s ways are unsearchable, therefore we have no other choice but to trust Him for our future. And God of all things is trustworthy!
Next time you are facing a hard situation, remember: God has already assessed you and has got you covered! He knows that together, you and He, are a majority. With man things are impossible, but with God all things are possible.
Father God, you are the Lord high and lifted up. Your name is holy, you are seated in majesty. Thank you for being the all-knowing God, the ever present God, and the all-powerful God. We can rely on you at all times, you never tire of us or because of us. Thank you for your supernatural strength and might. I ask you for wisdom and direction in Jesus name. Amen.
