Devotional 4/14

But you, be strong and do not lose courage, for your work shall be rewarded! 2 Chronicles‬ ‭15:7‬ ‭

After crushing us, God exercises His grace by allowing us to ferment in the supposed stillness of transition so that we might be ready for the next stage.

Father God, holy and eternal God, you are the all knowing and all powerful God. Nothing moves, and nothing happens without your say so. You know our caliber, you know our ins and outs. You are the ever present, everlasting and merciful God. Who will we call on if not you?

I come before you Lord, to ask for strength and courage. I ask on behalf of your children to re- strengthen us, help us in our unbelief and renew a right spirit within us. If there be any sick, may you bring healing: any downcast, bring joy: if any broken, bring wholeness.

Lord Jesus, the word says that hope is the anchor to our souls, and that your spirit has shed hope in our hearts- I pray for our hopes to be renewed. May you shift our minds to see and expect good in our lives, as we wait for your promises. Your word also says that Love is greater than hope and faith, so I ask you for love. May we have tangible experiences with your perfect love Lord of Hosts.

You are Alpha and Omega, you know the end from the beginning. And you have good plans to prosper us, not to harm us; I ask you to hide our hearts in the cleft of the rock. May nothing contaminate or destroy our hearts. I also present our families Lord, they are in your hands God. May they seek you, and know your ways. In Jesus name, Amen.
