Devotional 5/24

Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. James 4:14

It’s not about having time, it’s about making time.

Thank you Lord Jesus for your faithfulness and goodness. Thank you Lord for the new mercies you give us each day. I thank you for the relationships you are bring into our lives, and the seasons you have us in. Thank you for life, health and love.

Today I present our days to you. I pray that you help us make each day count, and each moment be cherished. Nothing is promised tomorrow, and for the most part all we have in this life is to enjoy the good times and the love around us. I pray each person reading this, would enjoy their opportunity to live today. I pray forgiveness is in their nature, and that they are free to give and receive love. May we come closer to the people we love, and find hope and strength to manage the memories of those we miss. May we take opportunities as they come, and may we also take advantage of our time and not take it for granted.

I pray you help anyone struggling with time management, procrastination, meetings, appointments, scheduling arrangements and the like; I ask you for wisdom Lord. You are wisdom, and you are able to give us more than we can ask for or imagine. I ask for your strength and grace, to prioritize, and to apply ourselves to our agendas. Holy Spirit work in us time management skills and commitment to live effective and productive lives. It’s in the matchless name of Jesus that I pray. Amen.
