The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that wins souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30

You are a steward of every moment, of every talent, of every gift, of every resource that God has given you.
Chose wisely what you do today!
Paul Washer

The blueprint of God’s plan was first revealed through His prophets. From the beginning it was God’s plan that the world may be saved. Salvation came from the Jews but was not exclusively for them. As a peculiar people they were chosen to glorify God, in comparison to the great nations which surrounded them (Babylonia, Assyria, etc.).
  • All families of the earth were to be blessed through Abraham. (Gen. 12:1-3)
  • Gentiles will come to thy light. (Is. 60:3)
  • God will show mercy upon one who had not obtained mercy and will say to them which were not His people, “You are my people!’ and they shall say, ‘You are my God”. (Hos. 2:23)
Every Christ follower should bear the fruit of the Spirit; the bible says we will know them by their fruit. Jesus told the disciples, that they didn’t chose God- but that God chose them… to bear fruit! John 15:16 says, I have appointed you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. God gives us the anointing and the ability to be fruitful: evangelize, instruct others and build disciples.
The Lord has set us apart, as representatives, to do work in His Name, develop Godly character, and be His witnesses. Those that win souls are wise, lets be the Lord’s witnesses!
Let’s pray:
Father God, we thank you for choosing us and setting us apart for your glory. I pray you help us all to cultivate the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness, and self-control. I pray you help us remove all false identifying markers set by this world from our minds, hearts and memories. I also ask you to help us bear fruits of repentance and good works. Thank you for a new nature Lord. In jesus name, Amen.
