I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

God will promote you depending on your tolerance of pain.
TD Jakes

The past cannot be changed, the losses can’t be undone but God gives us strength and courage to endure. The lord is with us to help us endure through the experiences of life.

Endure: suffer through something patiently.

There are some things in life that won’t go away when rebuked. Things like memories, the grief of losing a loved one, heartbreaks, betrayals and many other experiences. We must be able to accept things as they are, and move forward with them.

The Bible says that God is with us, and He will never forsake us. He cares about how we feel and why we feel the way we do. He promises to comfort us, even when we feel comfortless. He promises to gives us a peace that surpasses understanding. He doesn’t want us to be so concerned with understanding why things happen, that we dig ourselves into a hole. And even if we do find ourselves in a pit, God says He is with us there too. He doesn’t change on us when we question Him, when we’re angry, or giving Him the silent treatment. He is close to the broken-hearted. And in ways we can’t comprehend, He mends our broken hearts and helps us endure through the hard times.

Let’s pray:

Father God, today I present the people who have lost a loved one, and those who are experiencing some other kind of grief. I pray you strengthen and comfort them As they move forward. May you give them peace and hope each day. In Jesus name, Amen.
