But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. Ephesians 4:7
If God called you to it, He will see you through it!
I love grace. Grace is Jesus. Grace is the power of God, and the power of God in us. Without grace, progress in the spiritual life is impossible.
The type of grace Paul speaks of is the portion of power and ability God gives to each of us according to God purpose, and knowledge of us. For instance, if God’s will is for us to serve in His kingdom as generous givers: He will give us the grace we need to acquire finances, goods and resources. If His purpose is that we work with youth, He will give us the wisdom, the favor and the ability to communicate and understand the youth.
We are changed by the power of grace. Grace helps us use what God placed in us to glorify Him. God’s Grace helps us do all the things God expects us to do.
Have people hurt you? Grace helps you love, even to love your enemies and forgive those who’ve hurt you. Have you fallen? Grace keeps saving us on a daily basis. Are you tired? Grace helps us do life, even when we’re exhausted. Ask The Lord for grace: grace keeps us in line with God.
Lord Jesus, thank you for opening your arms to embrace us. Thank you for empowering us and diving us more than we deserve. I pray for grace today, for each of your children. May we walk boldly in the power you have given us. May we walk courageously in who you have called us to be. And may we commune with you more each day. In Jesus name, Amen!
