Prayer against fear

For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance.
John Lennon

Thank you Lord Jesus for being our God and creator, for being our friend and our teacher, for being our lawyer and our vindicator.

Today I present to you Lord God our families, loved ones and associates; may you help everyone with their day to day. I bind every spirit of frustration, anxiety, and fear in the name of Jesus. I ask you lord to fill us with hope, and with faith to believe in a better tomorrow and positive outcomes, may we have faith in the future. I ask that we may each have patience to accept like as it is and to change the things that are in our control: may we have wisdom to make changes that be beneficial and suitable for us and not be so concerned with certainty, that we do not make a choice. You are our God and you are always with us, you are our ever present help, you’re never on vacation and you never ignore us. You are for us and not against us. Help us to trust in You and not lean unto our own understanding.

I pray you open the eyes of all people God, to see you and acknowledge you in their lives. May we come to you with hope and expectation, and even our frustrations, knowing and recognizing that you hear us. I pray you help the atheists to believe, may you prove yourself real to them, even today Lord. I pray hearts of stone, are transformed to hearts of flesh. May love rule in our hearts as we deal with others and ourselves. I pray for compassion and forgiveness to be prevalent in our lives.

Father God, may we know what it is to live in freedom and in trust, I ask you give us hope, faith and joy on a daily basis. I pray for boldness and courage for each person reading, and ever person we encounter.  In the name of Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
