And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit, who lives in you. Romans 8:11
Who are you?
There a various stories of the workings of Jesus in the lives of people. He healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, casted out evil spirits, and resurrected the dead. We are able to do the same, if, and only if, the Spirit of God lives in us.
Making Jesus the Lord of our lives, gives us the authority to be the children of God. an when we are children of God, the same spirit of Christ is in us. Romans 8:9 says, if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. So who do you belong to?
The bible says that our human spirit has become one with the Spirit (of God); but many people do not have the Holy spirit. So which spirit is in them? An unclean spirit:
- divination (rebellion, fortune telling, witchcraft, astrology, sorcery, etc.)
- lascivious (lust, promiscuity, homosexuality, adultery, etc.)
- anti-Christ (any religion which denies Jesus Christ is the son of God)
- iniquity (liars, lead others to sin, secretly plot and cause trouble for pleasure, follow after their own will, etc.)
If the spirit of Christ is in us, then all things are possible to him who believes. But if we have any other spirit working in us, we are that spirits slave. We are tormented by the spirit, and can call out to Jesus for freedom! This may be impossible with man, but with God all things are possible, nothing is too hard for God!
Father God, thank you for giving us your power and authority. Thank you for being the God who never fails, and the God who fights for us. Today I ask you to cover those people who are giving place to other spirits to enter their lives and spirit, and I ask you to deliver those who have been battling with the like. I plead the blood of Jesus over myself, my loved ones and those reading, may all doors be closed to idolatry, worship of other gods, and communication with other spirits. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen!
