When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Luke 1:41
Your circle of friends must match your own aspirations and dreams, or you will find little support when you need it the most.
The Savior of the world would come through Mary’s womb, by immaculate conception (divine conception). Mary was pregnant with the purpose of God: Jesus Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of the world.
The Bible says that one day, Mary went to visit her cousin, Elizabeth. She too was pregnant with John, the Baptist: another purpose of God. When Mary entered the room, the child in Elizabeth’s womb, leaped.
After some time it is evident that a pregnancy is in place. It is almost impossible to not know that one is pregnant. In the natural pregnant women experience:
- emotional changes: excitement, anticipation and even anxiety of what is to come
- hope is shifted: once pregnancy starts, expectations shift, plans are made and creativity is stretched
- a mental transformation: mom is now conscious of her own wellbeing and the baby’s (different than before)
- physical adjustment: hormonal changes, change of eating habits, daily routine and sleeping patterns
Mary and Elizabeth were cousins, but they had other things in common. The purpose of God in Elizabeth’s womb, complemented the purpose of God in Mary’s womb. John, the Baptist was to lead the way for the Lord Jesus Christ, he was to baptize Jesus and the rest is history! In the same way, we who are pregnant with the purpose of God have to be submitted to the will of God and we have to be careful to be obedient to His word and the instructions of the Spirit.
The people meant to be around us, are also pregnant with a purpose of God. They are able to instantly recognize it and will complement our purpose too.
Lord Jesus, thank you for giving us dreams and visions. I pray you give each of us wisdom, and discernment to see what you want us to see and do, what you want us to do. I pray against any still birth or miscarriages in the natural and in the spirit. And I also pray for divine appointments and alignments, may you lead us to the people who will complement our purpose in you. In Jesus name, Amen.
