Divine Shift

And it will be said: “Build up, build up, prepare the road! Remove the obstacles out of the way of my people.” Isaiah 57:14

When the seasons shift, even the subtle beginning, the scent of a promised change, I feel something stir inside me. Hopefulness? Gratitude? Openness? Whatever it is, it’s welcome.

The Lord is preparing many for a “GREAT ADVANCE “. He is preparing us to occupy our promised land. He is fully preparing us, so we can handle everything being released.

If the Lord had brought it to us before, we would not have been able to handle the overflow. He had to expand our ability to carry what he is releasing. He is putting our heart in the place where we can feel and know that this is our season to prosper. This is our season to flourish, move forward and move towards what He has already prepared.

When the advance finally occurs, we may run out of breath, but the Lord will restore us and flood us with His joy and goodness. We are being moved from a season of transition to enjoying the fruit of the earth. Our days of exhaustion, work and struggle are coming to an end. And pain will no longer exist because joy will  come to us with the expected breakthrough.

The Lord has been orchestrating this “final” advance for a long time. Many things had to happen and take place before the Lord could lead us to it. We will see him in the midst of it all, without a doubt!

Heavenly Father, Today, we meditate on your faithfulness. We stand grateful for all the times that you have carried us through, even when we couldn’t see it. You are the same yesterday, today and forever, and we trust you to lovingly lead us into our new season. Help us to make peace with our divine pruning process. Allow us to see things from heaven’s perspective, to embrace the new thing you are doing and release anything not meant to follow us into our new season. In the name of your Son, our Redeemer, Jesus Christ, Amen!
