Sorrow to Joy

Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before the pains come upon her, she delivers a son. Isaiah 66:7

The victory will come easily

The Lord promised Israel that the Jews who were dispersed to distant lands would return to their homeland, once again making them a great fruitful and free nation.

God reminds them that suddenly things would change for them. He let them know that He’s aware of their suffering and would ease their troubles, by saying you will birth a child before the pains and travail. Have you ever heard of a child being born without a mother suffering labor pains?

When we look at the history of Israel we find that the nation has been persecuted and under siege for centuries. This promise gives us hope and reminds us that God is on our side and considers our sufferings too. It may seem like a long time coming but the Lord God has a plan to suddenly turn our situations around.

God is faithful to His word. His intent is to make a statement through our lives by suddenly fulfilling His promises to us too.

 Let’s pray:

Thank you father God for continuing to keep your eyes on us and over Israel. Bless Israel Lord. Thank you for the gospel and for sending your Son to be our salvation and our peace. I pray you bring salvation and abundance into our loved ones lives. Thank you for the turn around, and thank you for the victory! In Jesus name, Amen.
