Now one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice, and he fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan. Luke 17:15 -16
Everything we do should be a result of our Gratitude for what God has done for ya. Lauryn Hill
Would you like to know why you or some people are not crazy about God? Because of ingratitude, they are ungrateful.
It may seem funny or strange to see people singing, clapping and shouting unto God. But this is praise unto He who deserves it. God has been so good to us. There were 10 lepers who called out to Jesus, have mercy on us Lord! And Jesus did, he told them to go in their way and show themselves to the priest. While on their way they were cleansed of the leprosy, but only one of them turned back. He turned back to praise and worship the Lord who had been merciful to him. Gratitude looks like something!
Be grateful but show your gratitude! Be humble but also be God centered. Don’t be like the 9 leper’s who ran off with their blessing!
Give God the glory for what he has done in you, with you and through you!
Thank you father God for your love and mercy. Thank you for salvation and wholeness. We want to be like that one leper who returned to give you thanks and praise God. May we always keep our eyes fixed on you, and may you fill out hearts with gratitude if we have lost our focused or are looking at things incorrectly. Thank you Lord! In Jesus name, Amen.
