The mind of Christ

Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things, but they themselves cannot be evaluated by others, for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” but we have the mind of Christ. ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:15-16‬

Show God your faith, and He will show you His faithfulness.

We have the wisdom of God because Christ lives in us, and He is the wisdom of God. And only the Holy Spirit can reveal mysteries and things to come to us.

We have the mind of Christ so we can know the will of God. Not all good things are the will of God, so how do we know God is saying no? He can use other people to direct us, mess up our plans or not answer our specific prayer. Other than God instructing us through His word, He will also speak to us to clarify His will.

We can hear from the spirit of God, either through a prompting (not emotions): a God inspired thought, a dream, vision or spoken word. The Lord will never contradict His word so we must verify through the word of God. The promptings of the Holy Spirit must be scriptural. And lastly, when we walk according to the spirit He will use “coincidences” to confirm His will. Coincidences in God, are actually God-incidences.

As a good friend of mine said, God will not allow you to drift from His will because He knows that you truly want to do His will, and not your own.

Lets pray:

Father God, thank you for today and for never leaving or forsaking us. I pray you would increase our discernment to know your voice and reject the voices which may lead us out of your will. I pray you help your people find a place of rest to be able to hear you speak Lord. And for those who lack faith, may you help their unbelief. In Jesus name, Amen.
