To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. Ecclesiastes 2:26
The riches that are in the heart cannot be stolen.
Father God, thank you for your love. Thank you for your relentless love and patience towards us. Today I pray for strength and wisdom for all your children. You are wisdom, and your joy is our strength. Thank you for access to your throne of grace and mercy. For each breakthrough and every comeback this far. Thank you for another day Lord.
Today I pray according to your word; you say you give us wisdom, knowledge and happiness, so I pray the same. I pray for a refreshed spirit for us and our loved ones. May you fill us with renewed joy that we’ve never experienced before, and may we also be open to happiness and love in our lives and conversations.
I present those who are feeling lonely, empty or at a loss, may they abide in your love and feel that you are with them. I pray for those who may be struggling with finances, may they receive the supply they need. May you cancel debt cancellation and meet your people’s needs. May those who feel burdened with responsibilities receive time of rest. May you be their strength when they are weak and their joy when they feel down. Restore our minds so that we can function properly on a day to day basis, thank you for a sound mind. I also pray for health, peace and energy this week. May you help us manage our time in order to rest. And to also make time for you; help us to prioritize our to do lists Lord.
May everyone enjoy the holidays as they approach us: we invite you to celebrate with us. May you bring love into homes this season and a sense of connection despite of where we are or who we may be with. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
