Battle Cry

Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand. Psalms 37:24

God has invested entirely too much in you for you to be comfortable in anything less than you were created to be.

T.D. Jakes

Father God we come before you in the name of Jesus. You are mighty and all powerful, your name is Wonderful. You are our advocate and counselor; you lead us the right way and advocate on our behalf. Thank you for being our support, our helper, our teacher and our personal coach.

Thank you for giving us a prosperous year and allowing us to welcome and see a new year. I present our entire life to you Jesus, our inner workings, and ur secret thoughts, intentions and even motives. Help us during our struggles and help us make the right choices which complement our future.

We rely in knowing that you are working all things for our good, even when we can’t see it. Help our unbelief, give us more grace for our weaknesses and help us to have the faith to get back up if we do fail you at any given point in our walks. Your word says that we cannot hide from your presence and neither could we ever be separated from your love, may these truths be embedded in the very knitting of our soul and spirit.

We love you Jesus, you are worthy to be praised. May this year be our year to do great exploits in your name, like Daniel and the Hebrew boys who did great exploits because they knew their God.

I plead the blood of Jesus over each of us and I pray that you place a hedge of protection over us, our families, our homes, our churches and work places. Bless our coming and going, and keep us as you always have Lord. Teach us to war and confound our enemies, and continue to give us strategies to defeat he, who preys over our souls. I pray for endurance and strength to move forward despite what may come our way.

I ask you Lord to remove fear and apprehension from our hearts, any shame or guilt from our beings and give us the oil of gladness and the garments of praise in exchange! In Jesus name, Amen!
