It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23
Look over your shoulder… goodness and mercy are following you!
Father God, thank you for this day and for your new mercies. Thank you for saving us even while we were yet sinners. Thank you for finding and choosing us when we quite possibly were not looking for you.
I pray for all those who may be going through challenging times whether at home, with their families, financially, at the office, physically or mentally- may they encounter your mercy today. I ask you Lord to open their hearts to receive your kindness and so they can find the good in the bad.
I also pray for those who may be seeking change in their lives, may you grant them the access to the open doors they may need and bring them partnerships to support their lifestyles. May you protect our going and coming. Send your Ángels to guard our lives and give us wisdom to walk in your path and not make foolish decisions.
I ask you to encourage those who may feel down or unhappy about their lives in anyway, may you give them new hopes for the future. Lastly, Lord I pray for healing for those who may be afflicted mentally, physically or emotionally. May they receive a new revelation of your goodness and mercy. It is you who intercedes for us Lord so we ask for your mercy.
This world is not our home, it is our home for now. In the meantime I pray we can all do life with you. May we remember you during the good times, and acknowledge you during the bad times. I pray for those who believe they are living hell on earth at times and ask you to remind them of the good times too. We know that hell is eternal suffering, there is no love, laughter nor rest so we should learn to enjoy this life here on earth too. This life has its good and bad days, so we thank you that we still have the opportunity to see a new day.
I pray you help us be soul winners Lord. May we always have a word of encouragement or a testimony to share with others whether in person, on the phone or through social media.
In Jesus name, Amen.
