Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 2 Corinthians 9:6
If you are hearing from God, you can’t dream bigger than God can deliver.
The Lord has a harvest time for us. He is faithful and just to remember what we have sown in times past. If you’ve sown into other people’s lives; the Lord is faithful to bring the harvest into yours.
Harvest: the process or period of gathering in crops; gather (a crop) as a harvest; the product or result of an action.
Have you ever planted? I remember last year I decided that I wanted to grow my own beans. I placed some in water and waited for them to sprout. After a week or so the beans finally sprouted, it was time to plant it into some soil. Sadly enough it took forever to see anything grow! Week after week, month after month… I waited and eventually gave up: I would plant some flowers instead. I thought maybe I planted them wrong, maybe the seeds dried out or maybe the temperature was not favorable. But surprisingly, the next day I saw the stem peak from the soil! It made me so happy! It reminded me that this is the law of nature, as it is the law of God. We reap what we sow (Gal. 9:6).
It may seem that there is lack in some area of our lives, but don’t be discouraged. Proverbs 19:17 says when we give to the poor, we lend to the Lord! If you are generous with others, the Lord will be generous to you! Hebrews 6:10 says that the Lord is faithful, He will not forget the love and kindness you’ve shown others on behalf of His name! Whatever you have need of, God will supply it!
Father God, we thank you for your faithfulness. For remembering us and showing us favor. Thank you for not missing a single detail of our lives. Thank you for seeing for us like the apple of your eye. I pray you strengthen all those who may feel tired or forgotten today. May you show them favor, and bless them with tangible blessings. May you ignite their joy, hope and faith as they see the harvest you have for them. I give you praise and glory for what you are doing in our lives. In Jesus name, Amen!
