Have a blessed week

The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deuteronomy 31:8

At this very moment, God’s working behind the scenes in your life, arranging things in your favor. Stay in faith!

Joel Osteen

Father God thank you for life and giving us a new day. Although we don’t deserve your goodness you are good and faithful. Thank you for redeeming us from the grips of Satan and giving us salvation in you. Thank you for being with us through the good, the bad and the ugly.

I present this week to you and ask you to go before us and set the paths straight. I pray that you give us peace and grace for whatever may come. May we see you working the details of our life into purpose. May we be still and set our faces as flint in the times when we are tempted to worry, to complain and even to lose hope.

We know the 10 virgins waited for the brides groom, and they all fell asleep too. I pray you keep us awake and in expectation even as we wait on you for healing, finances, breakthrough, open doors, relationships and salvation of our loved ones.

We know that the disciples lost their cool when they were in the middle of the sea and a storm arose. You were in the ship with them, and they mistook your sleep and feared for their lives; help us to be calm and confident that in the midst of chaos you are with us.

I pray for each person going or looking for work, may they walk in the conviction that you are our sustainer and source. We know that peter walked on water, but sank when he doubted. So today I pray against doubt, I rebuke doubt in the name of Jesus. Help each person in their unbelief, may you be their strength despite what they see or experience. We know that you test and prune us so that we continue becoming more like Christ in mind, heart and spirit. I pray you give each of us peace to wait and confidence in you to walk on waters.

We acknowledge that we are not a finished work yet and we need your grace to stay encouraged. I ask you to use our respective situations to show us who we are and where we may need to surrender more or where we need to be renewed. Show us what idols we need to release and which lies we have been believing. May we not be discouraged by our humanity but be strengthened in the power of your might! In Jesus name, Amen!
