God will turn it around for our good!

Are you going through a hard time? Do you question the future? Are you concerned for the well-being of your nation? It’s normal to experience anxiety, restlessness or fear right now. But we can trust that God will work this out for the good of mankind.

Historically, we can look back at the great depression of the 1930’s. The stock market crashed and about 25% of the nation was unemployed. The entire nation was struggling financially, and every other way (emotionally, mentally and spiritually). People had to readjust to a new normal. Like us, they had questions, concerns and anxiety! I’m sure that they questioned God as well.

During the Great Depression, radio saw an increase of interest, and the TV was invented. Gardening (planting) surfaced and people ate organic food growing in their own backyards. Families were forced to find creative ways to enjoy life as it is; they learned to play cards, and board games became a thing. Women entered the workforce. Refrigerators and washing machines became a commodity and an industry. The CCC was born and created jobs for the unemployed. And government assistance supported the nation by creating welfare programs, which later branched out into SSI for the working class, food pantries, homeless shelters and rent subsidy aid.

The future may seem uncertain but we know that God is in control. These things must pass in order for God’s good perfect and pleasing will to come to pass. The Lord is working all things for our GOOD.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28

May the Lord bless and use you during this corona virus pandemic to bless souls and create jobs for the unemployed. May you be innovative and lucrative, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
