Why God? What are you doing? Where are you, Lord? How will this turn out for my family and I? When will things go back to normal?
During times like these its important to remember the goodness of the Lord in times past. It’s important to girdle our hearts and minds so that we would not be consumed by fear or anxiety. Where we are today is not our end.
One of my favorite people in the bible is Joseph. He underwent a long process of betrayal, injustice and disappointment. The enemy meant it for harm, but God turned it around for good. Where ever you find yourself today is not your end. The Lord has a turn around prepared for you, just like he had a turning point for Joseph.
You tried to harm me, but God made it turn out for the best, so that he could save all these people, as he is now doing.
Father God, this must come to you often during most of the days of this season; why God? What are you doing? Where are you, Lord? How will this turn out for me and my family? When will things go back to normal? But today I want to ask you to intercede for the world who is facing unemployment, business closings, hunger and mental health struggles. Our help comes from you and none other. We ask you this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
