Take heart my people

Take heart my people. The Lord wants us to have faith not fear. There are many people dying around the world, and the mix of emotions we are experiencing is real. We must not fear the virus or how our futures will unfold; God is in control and He allows things according to His perfect will and purpose.
This invisible enemy has attacked us but by faith I know that God will fight for us. The Lord will not allow our enemies to triumph over us. The enemy has come against us to destroy us, but they will stumble and fall. Our hearts will not fear, even if the attack comes directly against us. We will be confident that we will the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
We have the promise of God, the word of the Lord says that when we consider the poor, He will deliver us in time of trouble. He will preserve and keep us alive. He assures that we will be blessed on the earth and will not be given over to our enemies. The Lord said that He will strengthen us if we become sick, He will sustain us.
The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, You are our light and salvation, whom shall we fear? Of whom shall we be afraid? I present the corona virus, of this demonic plague that has invaded our world and its inhabitants. May our hopes and expectations be strong in you Lord. The very people we have depended on to heal us are themselves being affected by the virus, the institutions wen so highly esteem have went into hiding; Lord bring an awakening to your church to pray and fight on behalf of those who do not know how to fight back. Give us boldness and steadfast faith as we wait for you to stretch your arm and deliver us all. In Jesus name, Amen.
