Quarantine Gains

The quarantine has allowed us to reflect on our works, our plans and our desires. We can readjust and make changes in our lives. It has given us clarity.

During this time the Lord is teaching us how to live and walk in faith. He desires to deliver us from evil by revealing things in us, which we have pushed to the side and resisted to confront. Maybe you spent long work hours at home to avoid spending quality time with your spouse and children. Maybe you were keeping yourself busy to avoid the grief of having a miscarriage, losing your last job or relationship or the death of a loved one. Maybe you put off the important conversations or the things you feel called to do, but God is calling us to deal with it all.

We have been shaken, and will continue to be shaken until we are left with the immovable. We are all on the clock: may the Lord teach us to number our days so that we may not waste any of the time we’ve been given.

Today’s trials and hardships are vital for growth and maturity, a catalyst for action. What have you gained during this quarantine?

Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7:3‬ ‬‬
