Prayer: receive what God has for you!

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9a

What you believe you want, may be different from what you deserve.

Thank you father God for today, for your presence in our lives and for your everlasting love. Today I pray according to Isaiah 61. I declare that the Spirit of Lord is upon each of us. We’ve been anointed to bring good news to the poor, to comfort the brokenhearted and proclaim freedom to those who have been bond. We declare freedom, he who the Son sets free is free indeed! May we be solutions for people!

May we be the ones who to announce that the time has come for the Lord to show his kindness and His judgment against the wicked. May we be the ones who comfort those who are sad, and who are mourning. We receive your promise to take away the shame of our lives, and give us a crown instead of those ashes on our head. Thank you Jesus, for taking away our sadness, and giving us the oil of gladness! Thank you God!

Thank you for taking away our sorrow, and giving us new clothes to wear! Thank you for showing us favor, and crowning us with beauty! Thank you for giving us new songs, a new praise and taking away hopelessness. Thank you for raising us up as trees of righteousness, we are plantings of the Lord, so that You are glorified. And all the things which have been destroyed in our lives, you promise to rebuild. You promise to restore, thank you Lord in advance.

You said you will revive our lives and our homes, thank you Jesus. May doors be opened and hearts touch to serve us. May those that do not know us bless us, and show us favor! We are called priests of the Lord, ministers of our God! You said that we will feed on the wealth of the nations and boast in their riches, and instead of shame and dishonor, we reap a harvest of a double share of honor. May we possess a double portion of prosperity in our lands, and revel in your everlasting joy.

You said you will reward us for our suffering and you will be faithful to keep your covenant for us. May we be recognized and honored as blessed for being your people everywhere we go. Thank you Jesus for giving us salvation, for adorning us with the clothes of salvation and precious jewels.

Show your justice to the nations of the world God! May your faithful ones spring up like plants everywhere! In Jesus name, Amen.

Double for your trouble!

Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you. Zechariah 9:12

In the book of Job, we first see the ‘double for your trouble’ theme. Job lost his family, his wealth and employees and his health. He argues with God, and with his friends, but he did not curse God; in return God restored him, double for all his troubles.

The context of Zechariah 9 is the prophetic declaration that the people of God would be restored double for their trouble too. They would saved by the coming of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  He declared unto them that their enemies would be destroyed, and they would receive twice as much good for the evil they had suffered. This promise is for us to possess as well, God has been telling us that He is restoring us from the inside out and 2019 is the year of establishment.

The Lord made a covenant with the people of Israel, and He wanted them to know He would not let them down or forget about them.  The Lord called His people: prisoners of hope. The Lord wanted them to know that He could be counted on, even if they were struggling, even if life was not perfect, even if they had suffered a while, they could place their hope in God.

As children of God let’s be prisoners of HOPE! When we place our hope in God, we can rest in believing and expecting for Him to act on our behalf. We can have hope in God!

Let’s pray:

Thank you Jesus, we receive double for our troubles! Thank you for your word, for your faithfulness and your attention to us. I pray you strengthen our hearts to keep our integrity at all times. I pray we would be great stewards of your blessings and restoration, and never take your goodness or favors for granted. In Jesus name, Amen.

Hold on to HOPE!

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

The waiting itself is beneficial to us: it tries faith, exercises patience, trains submission, and endears the blessing when it comes. The Lord’s people have always been a waiting people.

Hope is more than making a wish! Hebrews 11:1 says that in order to have faith we must have certainty and a hope of something. If we do not have hope, then we cannot have faith!

Hope is to desire and expect something to happen. Hope gives us stability as believers. God has given us promises and we wait in expectation, but what happens when we have waited on God, and nothing seems to ‘manifest’? The bible says that when hope is deferred (postponed, delayed) it makes the heart sick, but having hope brings joy (Prov. 13:12, 10:28).

The enemy of our souls works to make and keep people hopeless, but greater is HE (Jesus) who is inside of us than he (Satan) who is in the world (1John 4:4). His greatest success is to discourage us to the point of despair. And despair is the opposite of hope: its the loss of absence of it. It grows from recurring disappointments and discouragements in life. When we lose hope, we lose love, passion, faith and desire for things, including life itself. As the enemy of our souls, Satan aims to kill, steal and destroy our love, hope and faith (John 10:10, 1 Cor. 13:13).

The antidote of despair and depression is to hope, Psalm 42:11 says, Why are you cast down, O my soul? Don’t be discouraged. Expect God to act!

Let’s pray:

Thank you Lord Jesus, for renewing our hope. Thank you for making your word true in our lives, for giving us joy and peace as we place our expectations back to you, I pray that hope overflows in us by the power of your holy spirit. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer: For God to bring His salvation

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. John 1:1

Jesus Christ is the Word of God, who was made flesh for our sake.

Thank you Lord Jesus for another day. Thank you for being the ever present God; the one who is with us through each and every situation. Thank you for opening our eyes to see and experience your all knowing and all powerful being. Today I pray for all the people who want to know you but do not believe they are ‘good enough’, or able to ‘submit to your rules or regulations”. I ask you give them supernatural strength to move forward and towards you. I pray they can stand firm in the faith they have, and in their hunger and thirst for the Truth, for a higher being or for a spiritual experience.  

Thank you for being our balm of Gilead Jesus, for healing our hearts and changing our minds. I pray you protect the minds and hearts of those who don’t know you yet. Protect them from spirits of confusion, insanity and delusion. I ask you to open the eyes of their understanding, so that they may come close to you. Your word says that you come close to those who come close to you, so I pray that this is their experience. I pray your angels would be dispatched and they would minister to those who are to be saved!

Thank you for being our mighty deliverer, the God who fights for us, saving us and freeing us from all things. I ask you Lord to have mercy on us all. I ask you Holy Spirit to visit those who are struggling with faith, those who have been feeding their curiosity with the different truths given by the world and those who willfully resist and oppose you. I ask you to open each persons mind and heart to move past hearsay and knowledge. May each person take a leap of faith to seek you. I ask you to soften their hearts so that they may perceive and receive you, and I also ask you to convict them of their wrongs and need of you God. 

I also stand in the gap for those who have resisted you, those who are thinking about you and have fears of going to church or committing themselves to you, I pray you meet them where they are. I stand in the gap for those who have been introduced to different belief systems; but have a desire to find out if YOU are real and are afraid to take a step of faith: may you be the fire in their bones to do so. Your word says that whoever believes will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. I pray that Your will to save us all is fulfilled.

And finally, I also pray for those who have drifted away from the truth. I ask you Lord Jesus to awaken their spirit, and put a will and desire for you again. May you visit each individual Jesus. We may not be able to reach all people, but you can reach them Lord. Nothing is impossible for you Lord.

May they receive life through your son Jesus Christ, Amen.

Monday Word 7/29

Thank you Father God for today, for your love and tender mercies. Thank you for giving us a new day. We may not deserve your grace and love, but it pleases you that we see another day. I pray each of us fulfill our purposes for being alive today.

I present these blogs to you asking you to draw those people who need it for whatever reason. I pray we can touch and agree on the prayers shared through this medium. And I ask you to bless each person who takes time to read my blogs.

I present each of my followers and ask you to open their understanding, help them in their unbelief and give them wisdom to apply knowledge. I pray you sharpen their discernment. May they taste and see that you are GOOD!

I also ask you to save and guard their souls from hardened or offended hearts, may you teach them how to guard their hearts. May you heal them of any emotional, mental or spiritual affliction. May you shed hope in their hearts, as only your Spirit can. I also pray for their convictions, may you free them from any religious, critical and offended spirits: free them from depression, anxiety and all forms of emotional and mental oppression. May your children walk according to your will, and delight in You, Jesus.

May you be He who lights their paths to righteousness. May you justify them when they are accused. And may you condemn the tongues which rise against them in judgment. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Devotional 7/22

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit. John 3:8

Can you see God? I’ve never seen the wind. I see the effect of the wind, but I’ve never seen the wind. There’s a mystery to it.

We are instruments in the hands of The Almighty. He wants us to be like wind.

The Lord wants us to trade in our will for His. The Bible says that He who loses His life, finds it. The wind blows where it wishes and God wants to take us where He wishes. People will see and hear us, but like the wind, they won’t know where we come from or where we are going. There is new on the horizon. The Lord God has new resources, new plans, and new relationships in this season. He has anointed you to shine, not to hide. He says, arise and shine for your light has come.

We are filled with the spirit of God, and we are instruments in His hands. Get ready! The Lord is moving you like the wind: He is taking you where He wills. Go fulfill God’s purpose for your life.

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, I pray this message is received by those who it is assigned to. May they rise up with courage and strength, to be like the wind in your hands. I pray for greater conviction and deeper trust. May you increase our wisdom and discernment. In Jesus name, Amen.

Devotional 7/4

People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving. Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house. Proverbs 6:30-31

The Israelites had soul issues! They got stuck in a cycle of sin and repentance! The Lord wanted to heal them, so that He could lead them along the right paths. And today like the Israelites, the Lord God wants to address what the enemy has stolen from us.

God is so faithful, the Lord is so good that even when we are not faithful He is faithful. Remember the Israelites were delivered them from Egypt. They were slave for 400 years and God delivered them; they worshiped God when He did. But next thing you know they made a golden calf, had an orgy party and worshiped it! God had mercy on them, but it doesn’t end there. They began to fornicate and badmouth their leader (Moses), and in judgment God caused an earthquake to swallow 23,000 of them! The Lord knew that they had experienced disappointment and trauma at the hands of Egypt, which represent Satan and the world system. But when they needed God, they would be delivered and backslide again, yet God would give them the victory and bless them again and again.

The scripture above is a biblical principle, if a thief is caught, he must pay sevenfold. A principle is a guiding code that leads us when choosing to do things: a standard/rule for life. The word says that Satan came to steal, kill and destroy while Jesus Christ came to give us life, and eternal life (John 10:10): this means that: God is ready to restore what the enemy stole, sevenfold! 

Let’s pray:

Thank you Father God for restoration. Thank you for redemption and thank you for forgiveness and mercy. May we be generous vessels, giving and lending to others as you have blessed us. May we be faithful with our tithes, and may we continue to be good stewards of all that you have placed in our hands. It’s in the name of the matchless and incomparable Jesus do I pray. Amen.

Devotional 6/12

Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil. Proverbs 4:25-27

Quit worrying about what you are supposed to do, and focus on who God says you are.

Do you spend as much time with God, as you do on people?

You spend hours texting, video chatting, hanging out and even arguing with friends and family. You spend time liking your peoples pictures, reading captions, messages and statuses. You listen to people’s advice, preachings, and respond/ meditate on people’s messages and comments…

You can spend time with God, in prayer, in sharing with people’s testimonies about God, and going to church. You can get to know God by reading and meditating on the bible. All we need in life is faith. In order to do successfully live by faith, we need a relationship with God. He who comes to God, must come believing He is God and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him (Hebrews 11).

A life in God is more than doing or performing for God, or keeping a checklist of good deeds. God knows you fall short from His glory, He knows sin dwells in your flesh, He knows that you are still under construction. Grace is what God did for us and His finished work. He will let you know whatever is not good for you, and He will help you make the necessary changes!

Let’s pray:

Lord I pray you put expectancy in our hearts. May we be in pursuit of our destiny moments and divine appointments for your glory and praise. May you manifest yourself, may all that we do be intentional. May we be deliberate in our time with you, in our time of study, of worship and prayer. May we entertain what we are supposed to entertain, may we go where we are supposed to go. May we say what we intend to say, and do what we intend to do Jesus. We give you glory and praise for stirring up our gifts in purpose in you: thank you for release. In Jesus name, Amen.
