Prayer: receive what God has for you!

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. 2 Chronicles 16:9a

What you believe you want, may be different from what you deserve.

Thank you father God for today, for your presence in our lives and for your everlasting love. Today I pray according to Isaiah 61. I declare that the Spirit of Lord is upon each of us. We’ve been anointed to bring good news to the poor, to comfort the brokenhearted and proclaim freedom to those who have been bond. We declare freedom, he who the Son sets free is free indeed! May we be solutions for people!

May we be the ones who to announce that the time has come for the Lord to show his kindness and His judgment against the wicked. May we be the ones who comfort those who are sad, and who are mourning. We receive your promise to take away the shame of our lives, and give us a crown instead of those ashes on our head. Thank you Jesus, for taking away our sadness, and giving us the oil of gladness! Thank you God!

Thank you for taking away our sorrow, and giving us new clothes to wear! Thank you for showing us favor, and crowning us with beauty! Thank you for giving us new songs, a new praise and taking away hopelessness. Thank you for raising us up as trees of righteousness, we are plantings of the Lord, so that You are glorified. And all the things which have been destroyed in our lives, you promise to rebuild. You promise to restore, thank you Lord in advance.

You said you will revive our lives and our homes, thank you Jesus. May doors be opened and hearts touch to serve us. May those that do not know us bless us, and show us favor! We are called priests of the Lord, ministers of our God! You said that we will feed on the wealth of the nations and boast in their riches, and instead of shame and dishonor, we reap a harvest of a double share of honor. May we possess a double portion of prosperity in our lands, and revel in your everlasting joy.

You said you will reward us for our suffering and you will be faithful to keep your covenant for us. May we be recognized and honored as blessed for being your people everywhere we go. Thank you Jesus for giving us salvation, for adorning us with the clothes of salvation and precious jewels.

Show your justice to the nations of the world God! May your faithful ones spring up like plants everywhere! In Jesus name, Amen.

Social Connections

When Naomi heard in Moab that the LORD had come to the aid of his people by providing food for them, she and her daughters-in-law prepared to return home from there. Ruth 1:6

We associate with people the way we see ourselves.
Joel Osteen

In the book of Ruth, the Bible tells the stories of Ruth, Noemi and Orpah. Orpah and Ruth had been married to Noemi’s sons, but they passed away. Although death can be the end of many relationships, we always have options: we choose who stays in our lives.

We don’t choose who comes into our lives: we choose who stays in our lives. Orpah decided that it was the end of the road for their relationship, she went back to Moab. But Ruth on the other hand decided to stick with Noemi, until the end of the road. She said wherever you go I will go. And your God will be my God (Rut. 2). There was a conviction in Ruth to stay connected to her. There was something in Noemi which Ruth identified with, and although Noemi could not see it, their relationship served purpose. It turns out that Ruth would catch the eye of a wealthy kinsman, who would redeem her life and Noemi’s too.

  • compensate for the faults or bad aspects of (something);
  • gain or regain possession of (something) in exchange for payment;
  • (of a person) atone or make amends for (error or evil);
  • fulfill or carry out (a pledge or promise);
  • atone for, make amends for, make restitution for;

God has people on standby to show us favor, and bring resolution to our needs. Some connections seem to have no purpose, but in God all relationships work for our benefit (Rom. 8:28). Certain people come into our lives are for a season, while others are for a lifetime. They either teach us life lessons, refine our character, or lead us to open doors. Choosing the wrong people can keep you from your destiny!

Let’s pray:

Thank you Lord Jesus for bringing relationships into our lives. I pray you increase our wisdom and discernment so that we may choose the right friends, and partnerships. I ask you for the conviction to hold on to the right relationships in our lives, and the courage to walk away from the wrong ones. In Jesus name, Amen.

Who’s the God of this world?

 The ruler of this world has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They cannot see the light of the Good News—the message about the divine greatness of Christ. Christ is the one who is exactly like God. 2 Corinthians 4:4

Every converted sinner is a saved sinner. Mathew Henry

Growing up I was raised to believe I was Catholic, but I didn’t do much other than being sprinkled with water when I was 7 or 8 years old. My grandma was Jehovah Witness, and she gave me bible studies. As I went on to my teenage years, I didn’t want to be a Jehovah Witness so I went into my own search for the Truth. I believed in Jesus, Allah, white magic, astrology and anything that helped me have a spiritual experience. I didn’t believe in God, I believed in a higher being. I was not religious, I was spiritual. I prayed in the name of Jesus, but I believed in the universe and oneness: lit candles, did spiritual baths, used chakras, the law of attraction and creative visualization and had my palms, the cards and my coffee mugs read.

After coming to Christ, the Lord has opened my understanding to what spirits were working in me. I am so happy to know JESUS CHRIST, and pray you do as well. I’m sharing these details about me because I’m very similar to many of you. And I know what it is like to be deceived by Satan, to be saved by Jesus Christ. I’ve been changed by the Truth. I just know that God loves each and every single one of you, and wants you to know that He is ready and willing to come into your life. I’ve also been set free from other spirits like homosexuality, lascivious, and others; But because of the dimension of the new age religion coming against us and our children, it’s necessary to speak about higher consciousness.

The bible says that Satan is the prince of the powers of the air: he rules the kingdom of the air, and is currently at work in those who disobey God (Eph. 2:2). Spirit in Greek is pneumatos, meaning wind, breath, spirit. Satan’s agenda works with his spiritual agents: evil spirits have some power of influencing us through and in the air. Evil spirits like the air are invisible, they sends thoughts to people minds and tempt them into worldly directions, and contrary to the will of God. The last thing Satan wants is for people to be saved, and thereafter to fulfill the purpose of God in their life.

Satan is the major influence in this world: his influence is evident in the world’s ideas, values, entertainment, education, and beliefs. And currently Satan is devouring souls through higher consciousness. Meditation, chakras opening/clearing, astrological orbits, breathing exercises, yoga, crystals, astral projections, channeling spirit guides, and other things are seeking to awaken the god in man. Most New Agers also consider Jesus a spiritual teacher, guru or a spirit. Higher consciousness is a constructed spiritual perspective, relying mostly on being in the moment and exercising self control, while seeing things objectively to the experience of here and now. It’s great to meditate and become more spiritually attune, but there is no such thing as oneness. The practices of the New age religion (or movement) are against God: all paths do not lead to God.

The god of this world blinds our minds, so that we cannot see the light of the gospel: the glory of Christ. The gospel is crazy to many people, but it is God’s power at work in us(Rom. 1:16). It is my prayer that everyone messing with the occult would see the Light.

Let’s pray:

Father God, thank you for salvation and for raising me up in you. I hope and pray that everyone gets to encounter You, Your presence and Your love. May each person we know and love, and even the strangers we come across know the Truth, so that the Truth would set them free. In Jesus name, Amen.

Friday word: The Judgment of God

And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil. John‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭

To think of God as a merciful God, and forget He is Just: is to underestimate Him.

The scripture says the light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness more. In other words, Jesus Christ came to save us all, but some love their evil deeds more than righteousness.

The mercy of God is so great that it extends to give us chance after chance to change our ways. When we choose not to repent, then it results in the judgement of God and (spiritual) death. Spiritual death is to be separated from God and to come out of His protective covering. For instance, King Nebuchenezzer and King Saul were both judged by God for their pride: they lost their kingdom and their minds. When the presence of God is absent, we are prey to spirits of all kinds (hint: both of these men were tormented by spirits of lunacy/ insanity). Nebuchenezzer repented and was restored, but King Saul did not and was killed in battle. Some speak mostly of the love of God, while others focus on His judgement: but the Bible says He is a great and dreadful God!

The last thing God desires is for us to be afraid of Him, to walk in shame or with guilt for missing the mark (sinning). But we decide if we will honor God or not. Loving the flesh, the things of this world and anything contrary to the word of God, blocks us from the love of God, knowing Him and discerning His will for us! The will of God is not for us to live apart from Him, but that everyone is saved. He desires for us to walk humbly with Him as our God and obey His His word.

The Lord desires to have a relationship with each one of you! Do you love your ways more than you love God? Do you value your opinions, your feelings, your comfort, or any thing else more than you love the Lord?

Jesus Christ is coming again, and this time He will not come to save the world, but to judge the world.

May we be found blameless at His return!

Let’s pray:

Lord Jesus, I ask you to have mercy on us all. May you awaken our spirits to your love and righteousness. Help us to live as you want us to live. May we be separated from evil, and even the appearance of evil, but never from your presence. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thursday word: The Throne of Grace

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14

Question for God every morning:
What is the main event today?
What do you want me to focus on today?

John C. Maxwell

There is a throne room waiting for us to come into. There is a secret place, the Lord waits to meet us in.

The Lord wants us to be in constant communication with Him, He doesn’t want us to be afraid of Him or to hide from Him. He is ready to extend His grace towards us. Even if we are struggling with sin, confusion, torment or any form of darkness. We can trust the Lord is always ready and willing to deliver and strengthen us.

Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, and that means He doesn’t want His children in any form of darkness.

God is faithful to keep all of His saints from blame, from falling away and from being snatched away by Satan.

The Lord gives us a chance each morning we awake to change our story: to repent and get right with Him. He may rebuke, correct and discipline us but He will not forsake us. The Lord searches our hearts and He knows the intentions of our hearts, even if you feel far from God- or have done things that displease Him- He is still your God. By His grace, we are able to have a fresh new start with Him with each day that passes!

Don’t let the enemy deceive you! He will do anything to keep you apart from God, and living the life He intends you to have!

Let’s pray:

Thank you Lord God for your redemption and forgiveness. I pray you speak to each heart, may they find their way back to you. May they taste and see that you are good. May they experience your unceasing love. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Tuesday word: Legalism

Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. Matthew 5:17

At its heart, legalism is a desire to appear holy. It is trying to be justified before men and not God.

David Wilkerson

The Lord is not a slave master, He is our great and mighty deliverer. He came to set us free: His yoke is light, and walking with Him should not be burdensome (Mat. 11:28).

We are not religious, we are in relationship with God through what Jesus our Savior did on the cross of Calvary. But some people serve God, follow God and even come to God because they fear God, in the literal sense. That’s not the type of affection He desires from us, this is religious legalism.

  •  is setting requirements for salvation: dependence on moral law rather than on personal religious faith.

The Lord does not place rules and regulations on us: keeping religious rituals, expectations and standards is religion.  Habakkuk, said the just shall live by faith: a life formed by faith. We are to walk by faith, like Paul said, we are justified by our faith in Christ. If we seek to be righteous by following the law, then we place ourselves under a curse: Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us (Gal. 3).

A true relationship with Christ is a lifestyle of faith and relationship. The flesh and Satan do as a team: like using our feelings, our ego and the church culture to enslave us into legalism. The Lord God is not rating our behavior, our prayer life, or our church attendance. God is a loving father, He is not bipolar: sitting us in heavenly places with Jesus and then sending us to hell the next day.

If you fear the judgment of God, more than you enjoy His freedom: the Lord wants you to enter the journey of knowing the love of God on a deeper and personal level.

Lets pray:

Lord Jesus, forgive the body of Christ for operating in self effort and pride. I pray you free your sons and daughters from every legalistic seed planted into their being. I ask you to teach and reveal your finishing work on the cross to those who do not yet know what you’ve accomplished. Help us to adore and worship you in spirit and in truth, and not in appearance, fear of punishment or to fit in. May we be holy, not by appearance, but in integrity: may we be separated from evil and worldliness. May we seek your approval before the approval of men! May your children know your love Jesus, and may they be transformed by it. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer for peace

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

There are many things that are essential to arriving at true peace of mind, and one of the most important is faith, which cannot be acquired without prayer.

John Wooden

Thank you father God, for your immeasurable goodness. Thank you for giving us a new chance to do life and to receive of your goodness, love and revelation.

Today I ask you for peace and calm. I lift up all peoples who are stressed, overwhelmed or anxious about their lives and to do lists, and even those who are concerned about the future. Your word says that if we keep our minds on you, we would have peace. Your word also says that we should make our petitions known to you, because you care about our cares. I thank you for giving us a peace that surpasses all understanding, and giving us calm in the midst of life’s storms.

I pray for the fruit of the spirit to manifest in us, such as the fruit of peace. I ask you Lord Jesus that we may be led by your Spirit, may we choose to walk in the Spirit and not according to our flesh and external things. I ask you would give us peace in every situation, and may we be peace makers as well.

I ask you Lord God, for a stronger convictions, deeper convictions and confidence. You are faithful, Lord. You will never leave, or abandon us for whatever reason. You will keep us blameless until you return. You will provide for our every need. May we have faith that looks past circumstances to the God who works all things for your good and his glory. I ask you for all these favors in the matchless and incomparable name of Jesus. Amen.
